One of my most favorite class projects was "The Other Side": a personal look into the four years I spent living in Tehran, Iran.
I wanted to create something that was both interesting to read, and had interesting visuals. I included a little of Iran's history, because that is an important aspect for the reader to know to be able to follow my journey. The visuals were images with filters, effects, and textures, and I also had the help of my sister; using her in many of my photo creations. I also wanted to make sure there was a mashup of 'east and west', using images, textures, caligraphy and colors, to show my American and Iranian side.
The final book was printed and bound and is one of my most treasured projects to date.
